What kind of masks are these?
Mask Mary will help you meet the latest mask recommendations or just increase your personal appeal with incredibly stunning fabric masks. Fabric masks are intended for long-term use, so it is better to choose a product that fits well, is comfortable and reflects your personality. Mask Mary’s selection has something for everyone.
There are 3 types of face masks:
Model 1
- tailored face mask
- double-layer poplin cotton (protective effect almost the same as with a surgical mask)
- there is a pocket between the fabrics to which you can add another protective layer
- glasses friendly
- adjustable ear loops
- adjustable nose metal
- there are three sizes: S, M and L
- maximum 24.5 x 14.5 cm/9.6 x 5.7"
Model 2
- a very breathable sports mask
- single layer viscose elastane blend
- very pleasant against the skin
- there are two sizes:M and L
- maximum 34 x 12cm/13.4 x 4.7 ”
Model 3
- double-layer poplin cotton
- In most of the masks there is a pocket between the fabrics to which you can add another protective layer

Care and use
masks should be washed after each use
- you can also cook the masks for 1-2 minutes with a mild detergent

- cloth masks are not medical devices and should not be used in medical situations
- suitable for use by adults, teens and children over 3 years of age
- must not be worn by persons under 3 years of age, the unconscious, the helpless or persons who cannot remove the mask on their own
What are the masks made of?
Mask Mary face masks are mainly made of poplin cotton with excellent protective performance and breathability studied. Pure cotton does not release microplastic and is highly recyclable. The sports mask is made of viscose and elastane to ensure good breathability. In addition to cotton, some deluxe masks contain eg. little polyester and metal. All Mask Mary cotton fabrics are made of environmentally friendly OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 fabric, which guarantees that the fabrics do not contain harmful chemicals and are skin-friendly.
Masks with a print are made of GOTS - certified fabrics, which guarantees that they are environmentally friendly throughout the production process, from cultivation to printing.
Where are masks made?
Mask Mary's products are designed in Finland and sewn in Estonia. Each mask is a handicraft of a professional seamstress.
Where are the fabrics printed?
The patterns of the masks are Finnish design. They are printed in Latvia in EU-certified, environmentally friendly colors. Every effort has been made to minimize any wastes related to fabrics, colors and water. The printing technology has been developed so that it does not require water. The toner used is chemical-free and guarantees deep, well-preserved colors.
Who designed the masks?
The patterns of the face masks and the prints seen in the masks are made by the Finnish artist Kattack.
Are there multiple sizes?
Mask Mary offers three different mask models in 2-3 of these sizes.

Do you have storage bags for masks?
Mask storage bags are in process. Mask Mary wants to be environmentally friendly and produce the highest quality products possible for its customers, so it can sometimes take time to launch a product.

Ordering and delivery
What does pre-order mean?
Pre-ordering means that our partners in the factories in Northern Europe are currently working and making masks by hand without compromising on quality. Your order will be delivered to you as soon as possible. If you wish, you can inquire about the estimated duration by contacting our customer service.
What payment methods does Mask Mary offer?
In cooperation with Stripe and Klarna, we offer invoice, installment, card and direct payment as payment methods. Klarna's payment solution is called Klarna Checkout. Read more >>
Why didn't I receive an order confirmation in my email?
Check your spam folder, as the confirmation message may have been spammed by mistake.
An order confirmation is usually sent immediately, but sometimes sending a message may be delayed. If you have not received confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us and we will check if your order is okay.
What is the delivery time of the products?
Mask Mary strives to deliver your order as soon as possible. Usually all our products can be found in the finished warehouse and then they will normally be delivered within 4-5 working days in Finland and within 4-6 working days the Nordics and Middle-Europe. Southern Europe may take up to 7-8 working days. We reserve the right to slightly longer delivery times when running popular campaigns. The announced delivery times may change.
How can I track my shipment?
If your order has been delivered to you as a package, you will receive a tracking code from us, which will help you track your delivery at www.posti.fi. Otherwise, your package will come to you as a normal letter mail. If necessary, please contact our customer service superheroes to track your delivery.
Why didn't my mask arrive at the same time?
Due to high demand, some products may be temporarily sold out. Delivery times for different masks depend on fabric availability, fabric printing, embroidery, sewing and transportation. Some masks involve several steps and take longer to make. Mask Mary wants to deliver her customers protection as quickly as possible, this can sometimes mean splitting an order into multiple shipments. For hygienic reasons, each mask must be packed in its own packaging. This also makes individual product returns instead of full order returns possible. Remember that the masks must be returned in their original packaging and still be sealed.
Where are the products shipped?
The products are packed in individual packages at the Estonian factory and sent to Mask Mary's office in Finland, where they are packed in a joint package according to your group order and sent to you.
How are products packaged?
Each mask is heated and packaged in an individual package made of hygienically recycled paper. The package is sealed with a sticker indicating the product and the size of the product. The coronavirus does not survive on paper for more than 30 minutes, so it is the best option in terms of hygiene. You can find more about the materials here.
The individually packaged face masks are packed in a larger cardboard box for shipping. The package is unloaded in Finland and the individually packaged masks are placed in envelopes made of hygienically recycled paper and sent to their new happy owners.
All packaging materials used by Mask Mary are recyclable.
How much are the delivery costs?
In Finland, the postage is € 3.90.
In Europe, the postage is € 5.90.
In all the other countries € 9.90.
Orders over € 80 without postage.
How are the products delivered?
The products are sent to you with Finnish Posti and delivered all the way to you by your country's governmental authority responsible for postal matters. If your order fits in one or two envelopes, it is always our preferred option. Otherwise, your order can be picked up at a Post office or Post box near you.
Can I buy and send a gift through Mask Mary?
Absolutely! All Mask Mary face masks are well suited as a gift for a loved one, friend or family member. They are easy to send directly to the recipient even to the other side of the world. If you are not quite sure about the preferences of the recipient of the gift, you can also buy and send an e-gift card through us.

Do you offer gift boxes?
This is coming. We want to do everything as environmentally friendly and hygienic as possible. Sometimes this combination takes more time to get organized.
I would love to send Mask Mary's products as a gift. Does the invoice then go with the package to the gift recipient?
Mask Mary's products are paid for at the time of purchase on the website, in which case you will receive a receipt for the payment transaction. There are no prices on the individual packaging or envelope of the masks.
I bought the gift through Mask Mary and it's late?
During the holiday season, our store may be busy. But you can send the recipient one of the following messages:
“Your gift is on its way. It decided to take a couple of extra laps with the delivery guy's convertible. ”
“Your gift has been left to our trusted unicorn Gabriella for delivery. It will arrive in a few days, accompanied by magic dust. ”
“I promise you will get more than just this text. It's not here yet. ”'

The gift card can be returned for 14 days from purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible via the contact form.

What do I do if my mask is of a wrong size?
Oh no! If you are receive damaged or incorrectly packaged products, incorrect sizes or incorrect products, please contact us via the contact form. We will do our best to correct our mistakes. You can get either new products or your money back if you wish.
Important:Please remember to mention your order number.
If, on the other hand, you have ordered a mask of a wrong size, try adjusting the length of the ear loops. If it is not helping, we recommend giving the mask as a gift to your friend! One (wo) man's trash is another (wo) man's treasure!
What do I do if I regret my purchase?
We at Mask Mary hope you are happy with the products you have ordered. Face masks are subject to a 14-day right of return guaranteed by consumer protection from the moment you receive the product, provided that the face mask is in its original paper packaging and the sticker seal is unbroken. The masks are hygiene products, so they cannot be returned after the seal has been opened. If you wish to exchange or return the product, please contact us immediately via the contact form for return instructions. Do not return the product to Mask Mary until you have received instructions.
The right of return does not apply to separately agreed group orders, which are manufactured and delivered based on the buyer's wishes.
How do I make a product complaint?
Mask Mary assures that each product has been thoroughly and hygienically tested before being shipped to the customer. If you still believe the product is damaged or defective, please contact Mary Customer Service as soon as possible via the contact form.
How do I get my money back?
Payment will be refunded within 14 days after Mask Mary received the returned product/-s and has ensured that you have been entitled to a complaint or regret the purchase. Mask Mary is not responsible for products that are returned without receiving return instructions first.
Using and washing a face mask
When should I wear a face mask?
- Adults and teens aged 12 or more should wear a face mask in schools and public places
- In group meetings
- In public transportation and taxi
- If you are on your way to a COVID-19 test and waiting for the results to be completed and if it is necessary for you to be outside your home
- When you return to Finland from risk areas and it is necessary for you to be outside your home
- When visiting a shop, shopping mall, bank, library or other public place
- In facilities used for exercising or sports
- In churches or other religious spaces
- In concerts, theaters, museums, art exhibitions and cinemas
- Amusement park, festivals and markets
- In congresses, exhibition centers and training facilities
- At weddings and parties
- When taking your child to kindergarten or school
- When visiting your loved ones in hospitals, or helping them to hospitals.
- On premises meant for gambling and betting services
How to wear a face mask?
1) Wash your hands with soap before applying the face mask.
2) Place a face mask on your face, holding the ear loops. Avoid touching the mask.
3) When you no longer need the mask, remove the mask by pulling on one of the earloops and place it in a closable cloth bag. (plastic bags are not a good option in this situation [link to health instructions])
4) Wash your hands again with soap.
Can the mask be adjusted?
Of course it can! A good fit is one of the essential elements of a protective face mask. The ear loops on the mask are loosely attached, allowing you to cut the stitch off and/or tie the loops to the tension that works best for you. You can rotate the knot to hide it under the side seam. That way it doesn’t cause any pressure behind your ears or feel uncomfortable.

Warnings and Disclaimers
Do face masks provide 100% protection?
Fabric face masks are not designed to prevent, diagnose, or cure any disease or condition, including the coronavirus. They are not sterile or medical devices and are not intended for medical procedures or situations.
Masks are not intended for children under 3 years of age. The breathing capacity of a child of this age decreases rapidly and should not be subjected to extra strain. An adult should monitor the use of the mask by children under 13 years of age.
The face mask should not be applied to the unconscious, helpless or persons who cannot remove the mask on their own.
Mask Mary assumes no responsibility for resellers ’comments or claims.
Group subscriptions
Can I place a group order?
Absolutely. If you are ordering 50 masks or more, we recommend contacting our customer service hello@maskmary.fi directly. In this case, we can also agree on possible discounts.
Where is my group subscription?
The group order will only be sent once Mask Mary has received the contact order form and payment. It usually takes 14 days to process and mail your order.
